Police reconstruct heads from skulls
Luxembourg's police have issued a call for information resulting from the discovery of two human skulls in a plastic shopping bag.
The discovery was made in 2003, but it has only been recently when forensic science has been able to be used to reconstruct one of the faces, with the help of Belgian experts.
The bag containing the two heads was discovered at a bus stop in Dudelange on 23 January 2003. The first is understood to be of a woman aged 20-45 years of age who died within the past 30 years. While it is possible, or even probable, that the two skulls were taken from a cemetery, the police have not ruled out foul play.
Anyone with information on the two faces is urged to contact the Luxembourg police on tel: 113.
