Doreen Vincent disappeared from her father’s house in Wallingford June 15, 1988, never to be seen or heard from again.
With no body and no evidence, police can’t say for certain who may have been responsible for the 12-year-old’s disappearance.
On the night she disappeared, Doreen had a disagreement with her father, Mark Vincent. He told police she left through the front door of the house he had recently moved into on Whirlwind Hill Road, a rural section of Wallingford.
His wife at the time, the late Sharon Vincent Hutchins, told police it would have been impossible for Doreen to leave through the front door because it was locked with a deadbolt that required a key.
Police have never been satisfied with Mark Vincent’s account. “All we can say is his explanation of the circumstances surrounding her disappearance is suspect,” said Wallingford Detective Lt. Robert Flis. (more...)

Many on Websleuths have speculated that Doreen is Racine WI jane doe. But cannot find any updates, as far as a submittal. I think there is a strong resembalance.

I agree! The more I look at the photos of Doreen on NaMus and compare them to the composite for Racine Jane Doe, I have come to the same conclusion.
I do wonder, however, how a girl this young managed to stay alive for as long as this Jane Doe is estimated to be. Some believe Jane might be Nyleen Kay Marshal, which might also be a good theory.
One thing that troubles me-how can the forensic pathologists come to a conclusion that this Jane might have been mentally challenged. How does one come to this conclusion?
It would be interesting to see how all cases mentioned play out.

I don't know, I always saw her as native or hispanic with native descent and both Nyleen and Doreen look just anglo. I think she looks like so many of these native girls missing in Canada. That's her nose beside her complexion who really is native/hispanic to me. Yes I don't know either why they think she was mentally challenged but probably they have reasons to think that.
